Meet Kieran, the teacher behind it all
Hi, I'm Kieran, a qualified French teacher and the person behind everything at French Language Worksheets. From the very first worksheet to every tutoring lesson, it is all created by me, with real classrooms and real students in mind. Here is a little about why I started, what I do, and the person doing it.
Why I started French Language Worksheets
When the new AQA GCSE curriculum arrived, there was a real gap. Teachers were scrambling for quality resources that actually matched the new specification, and students were left working from materials that were already out of date.
I wanted to fix both. As a teacher, I knew exactly the support I always wished I had, so I set out to build worksheets that follow the new curriculum closely. The goal is simple: give every teacher resources they can rely on, and make sure students are always learning from something current and high quality.
Quality French, open to all
Great resources should not be locked behind a single exam board. Alongside the GCSE materials, I have started building beginner worksheets so anyone can start learning French from a quality starting point, whether you are a teacher, a parent, or picking it up yourself.
The part I am most passionate about
There is nothing better than watching a student improve and start to thrive. I teach French to everyone: school students, younger learners, adults, and expats settling into life in France. Whoever you are, every lesson is built around you and your goals.
The person behind the worksheets
When I am not teaching, you will usually find me gaming or planning my next trip somewhere new. My love of French is personal. I lived in Montpellier, and I go back as often as I can (and yes, I really do love frog legs).
That connection to France, its language and its culture, is something I try to bring into every lesson and every worksheet I create.
